Training: Parental Rights Awareness for Managers and Senior Leads
As part of their investment in Newcastle’s approach to father and male carer inclusive practice Barnardos have arranged for NEPACS to deliver a bespoke Parental Rights Awareness training session for Managers and Senior Leads.
NEPACS delivered Parental Rights Awareness training for practitioners earlier this year, and it was so well received there is a second delivery for practitioners who weren’t able to make the first, scheduled for December.
The delivery for Managers and Senior Leads will support a more comprehensive understanding of PR, and considerations for practitioners from a management perspective around how to support and encourage father and male carer inclusion, consent, and barriers to engagement dads and male carers might face, with a view to widely embedding effective inclusive practice.
Spread the word about this valuable opportunity for Managers and Leadership. It will be delivered on Wednesday January 28th, 1-3.30pm (doors open at 12.45), in person at One Strawberry Lane. Attendees should book via the Eventbrite link below, places are limited to 20.
